The mascot does not appear

Site Mascot 2.0 and later Updated October 15, 2026

  1. Check the page’s Site Mascot box: hide on this page may be ticked.
  2. Check for a site_mascot_should_load filter in your theme or another plugin. See Hooks and the JavaScript API.
  3. Clear your page and script cache, then test in a private window.
  4. A visitor may have hidden the mascot for their visit.
  5. If a browser cannot do 3D, the mascot shows a still picture instead of disappearing.
