License Screen & Activation
Activate, check, transfer and deactivate a Stardetha license.
Backend scope (v0.24.3): Stardetha One is the customer default; legacy mode requires an explicit IST_LICENSE_BACKEND=legacy override. The legacy behavior below does not describe Stardetha One. For One configuration, strict signature checks, a maximum 72-hour signed lifetime, target-language/memory grants, online character authorization, and licensed package updates, see Stardetha One Integration.
Legacy licensing backend
Open Instant Languages → License to connect the WordPress installation to a Stardetha commercial license.
Activation
- Enter the license key supplied by Stardetha.
- Select Activate License.
- v0.21.0 creates or reuses a persistent installation instance ID.
- The plugin sends the key, product slug, site URL, instance ID and environment versions to the Stardetha Licensing Manager
/license/activateendpoint over HTTPS. - The server validates the plan, expiry and site limit, registers the activation and returns a signed entitlement response.
- The plugin verifies the response signature when supported and stores the license key encrypted locally.
After activation the UI displays only a masked key, plan, activation usage, expiry, last check and signed-response status.
Check now
Check now calls /license/check. A successful response refreshes the cached entitlement. Explicit expiry/revocation/disablement immediately changes premium availability. A transport/network failure can use the previously validated entitlement during the 14-day connectivity grace window.
Deactivation and transfers
Deactivate License calls /license/deactivate using the current installation instance ID. The Stardetha server marks that activation inactive, freeing a site slot for another website. The local encrypted key is then removed.
Customer portal
The License screen links to the Stardetha customer license portal, where customers can view their products, plan, full license key and activated sites when logged in to the matching account.
