Each commercial release is a coordinated product, licensing and documentation release.

Instant Language Switcher release checklist

1. Finish and test the plugin code.
2. Increment the plugin version.
3. Update readme.txt and release notes.
4. Update the Instant Language Switcher documentation project to the same product version.
5. Rebuild the ILS documentation website and WordPress documentation plugin.
6. If Stardetha Licensing Manager changed, increment its version and update/rebuild its own documentation packages too.
7. Upload the final ILS ZIP under Stardetha Licensing → Releases.
8. Record WordPress/PHP requirements and release notes.
9. Test /updates/check and a WordPress Update now installation using a real test license.
10. Publish customer-facing release notes only after the update package has been verified.

Version synchronization rule

A new Instant Language Switcher version is not considered complete until its documentation content, documentation website, documentation WordPress plugin and downloadable documentation bundle have been rebuilt. Stardetha Licensing Manager follows the same rule independently for every server release.
