v0.24.3

Plans & Entitlements

Site activation tiers, premium entitlement and expiration behavior.

Backend scope (v0.24.3): Stardetha One is the customer default; legacy mode requires an explicit IST_LICENSE_BACKEND=legacy override. The legacy behavior below does not describe Stardetha One. For One configuration, strict signature checks, a maximum 72-hour signed lifetime, target-language/memory grants, online character authorization, and licensed package updates, see Stardetha One Integration.

Legacy licensing backend

Stardetha can sell Instant Language Switcher using multiple activation tiers. The initial commercial plan model is:

Plan Recommended site activations
Single Site 1
Professional 3
Business 10
Agency 25
Enterprise Custom / unlimited

Activation limits

The licensing server is the source of truth for activation counts. A customer can deactivate an old site and activate another site when allowed by their plan and store policy.

Premium entitlement

In v0.21.0 the primary premium entitlement is binary: the site either has a valid commercial entitlement (or active grace period) for premium operations, or it does not.

An active entitlement unlocks:

  • automatic provider generation
  • whole-site translation automation
  • queue processing/retries
  • rendered discovery
  • Visual Editor automatic missing-text translation
  • licensed update delivery

Expiration behavior

Expiration is intentionally non-destructive.

License expires
      ↓
Existing stored translations remain
      ↓
Frontend multilingual delivery continues
      ↓
New premium generation / update entitlement stops

This prevents a billing or connectivity event from suddenly breaking a customer's public multilingual website.

Future plan-specific features

The entitlement layer is designed so later releases can add plan-specific capabilities such as Stardetha Translation Cloud, centralized Translation Memory, glossary sync, analytics, multisite management or enterprise support without changing the core local translation model.
